This is my layout I did last night about Josh and his road to eastern Nationals. I will put a page next to it about Eastern Nationals. Hoping that we will be doing more about the "Champ"!
I have to say and I know it will sound cliche , but he is so much my Champion everyday, that no amount of medals or lack of would ever change that. That being said, believe me I will be screaming and cheering like no tomorrow this weekend, wanting and willing him to win. I know how hard he has worked and how much he wants this championship. This is the kid that went 1-9 last year in league, got thru to Eastern Nationals as an Alternate and got to go and win one at the tournament, then lost 2 in a row. Didn't get to wrestle on Sunday and still on the ride home asked if he could go and train with Bobby Weaver to become a better wrestler. That was when I knew he wanted to be a champion. So it has been 1 year since then and I have seen the switch flip and he is so ready. His coaches have said nothing but great things about how he has worked hard this year, how they are so proud of him getting the job done on the mat. It is amazing to think back at what I was doing at 8 years old, I know there is no way I was this driven. He is my champion.
